Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for a site to work; others remember preferences or track behaviour. TileSmithy uses only the first two kinds — never tracking.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for TileSmithy to work and are set only once you sign in. Without them you cannot stay logged in.

• Supabase authentication cookies (for example, cookies named sb-…-auth-token, which may be split across a couple of entries): they keep your session active and secure so you don't have to log in on every page. In production they are marked Secure and are cleared when you sign out.

3. Preference cookies

These remember choices you make, so the site behaves the way you expect. They contain no tracking information.

• NEXT_LOCALE: remembers whether you are using TileSmithy in English or Spanish.
• theme: may be stored to remember your light or dark interface preference if you change it.

4. No analytics or advertising cookies

As of the date above, TileSmithy uses no analytics, advertising, social-media or other third-party tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no ad pixels and no cross-site tracking.

Because we only use strictly necessary and preference cookies — which are exempt from prior consent under the ePrivacy rules and Spain's LSSI-CE — TileSmithy does not need, and does not show, a cookie consent banner.

5. Managing cookies

You can view, block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking the strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in and using your account. Signing out clears your session cookies.

6. Changes to this policy

If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy, update the "last updated" date above, and add a consent banner where the law requires one.
